Service Description
HekayaVerse is a personalized storybook creation platform that allows users to create custom illustrated stories. Our service generates 10-page storybooks based on your photos and story prompts.
Service Features:
- Upload 1-2 character photos for personalization
- Create stories for children or adults
- Generate 10-page illustrated storybooks
- Download high-resolution PDFs
- Access your stories anytime through your account
Account Registration
To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use our services. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or security breach.
Payment Terms
Pricing
Our current pricing is 500 EGP per story. This is a one-time payment that grants you full access to your completed story, including download and printing rights. Prices are subject to change, but any changes will not affect stories already purchased.
Payment Methods
We accept payments through Dodo Payments and Stripe. All payments are processed securely through these third-party providers. By making a payment, you agree to their respective terms of service.
Refund Policy
Refunds are available if your story fails to generate due to technical issues on our end. Once a story is successfully generated, sales are final. If you are unsatisfied with the quality, please contact our support team, and we will work to address your concerns.
Content Ownership and Rights
Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to the photos you upload and the story prompts you provide. By uploading content, you confirm that you have the right to use the photos and that they do not infringe on any third-party rights.
Generated Stories
Once you purchase a story, you own the complete generated storybook, including all text and illustrations. You have full commercial rights to use, share, print, and distribute your story as you see fit.
License to Us
By using our service, you grant HekayaVerse a limited license to process your uploaded photos and prompts solely for the purpose of creating your personalized story. We will not use your content for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
Full Commercial Rights
Your purchased stories come with full commercial rights. You can print, sell, or distribute your stories without any additional fees or restrictions from HekayaVerse.
User Responsibilities
As a user of HekayaVerse, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating your account
- Only upload photos that you have permission to use
- Create content that is appropriate and does not violate any laws
- Not attempt to reverse engineer or exploit our platform
- Respect the intellectual property rights of others
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use our service for any of the following purposes:
- Creating stories featuring copyrighted characters without permission (Disney, Marvel, etc.)
- Uploading photos of individuals without their consent
- Creating content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or obscene
- Using the service for any fraudulent or illegal purpose
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Distributing malware or engaging in any activity that disrupts the service
- Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation
Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
Content Quality
We create high-quality stories, though the final output depends on various factors including photo quality and prompt clarity. We do not guarantee that every generated story will meet your exact expectations, but we strive for excellence and offer support to address any issues.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HekayaVerse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific story in question.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HekayaVerse from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your uploaded content, or your violation of these terms. This includes legal fees and costs associated with defending against such claims.
Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, you will lose access to your account, but your purchased stories will remain available for download for 30 days.
Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any reason that we determine, in our sole discretion, is necessary to protect our service or other users.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Egypt. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Egypt.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through a notice on our platform. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
